Reasons That I (Jim Martin) Should Be Cast as Hal Jordan in Martin Campbell’s GREEN LANTERN Movie for WB
1.) I’m utterly honest and have overcome great fear.
2.) Abin Sur would take note of my purity of heart and my ability to connect with him about stuff we both like and struggle with (like Lanterns and willpower)
3.) Both Hal Jordan and myself have had love affairs with our attractive bosses (in the past I dated my boss who was an agent when I was her assistant).
4.) I know what it’s like to destroy Mongul in the wake of Superman’s death only to realize that my hometown has been destroyed and all its inhabitants murdered and then be forbidden to rebuild Coastal City with my ring - only to be brought to Oa on trial and then banished.
5.) I have many personas (Parallax, Hal, Green lantern = Jim, J$, Cowboy dude, shirt&tie guy, baseball hat)
6.) I could help with the soundtrack.
7.) How kick ass would I look in that sweet Guardian Attire?
8.) I sign autographs at comic con (see the picture above from last year)
9.) I have a list of possible Sinestros that will vouch for me.
