allston: The bathroom wall at the Model: A sounding board for women’s rights. That’s a bar I used to drink at sometimes around 4:30 or 5pm. That’s when there would be all these construction workers there, or local dudes that just got unemployed. They’d stop off for a few shots and beers and usually I’d be sitting there doing the same thing and we’d have conversations about how shitty life is… And that was before I even knew how shitty life was!  Around 8 or so I’d go home, because I didn’t want to be there when the DJ showed up and I’d keep drinking in my room or at some less cool bar or an UNO’s…
